The mileometer said 620 miles, but all except the trip home flew by. Cornwall, you are incredible.

Night Games at West Bay
Saturday night saw me hatching a plan to administer a Flounder smackdown. Wedged between my Lulworth wrasse-a-thon in the morning and the Bristol BLAC qualifier the next day, I settled on West Bay, in Dorset.
Dawlish LRF
With an extended bank holiday weekend and a decent forecast we jumped in the van and headed down the A303 to Devon, for a spot of camping. Dawlish Warren was our chosen destination and although this wasn’t a fishing trip, of course the lure rods came along too.
Apres BLAC Trouting
After the Hungerford BLAC event on Saturday, Newbury angler Mark Taylor kindly offered to show me around some of his local trout waters. I duly obliged.
LRF on Swanage Pier
What a cracking bank holiday Monday it was down in Dorset!
First of this year’s trips down to Swanage Pier and the first of the fish. It was clear that the Scorpos were back with a vengeance. Team Taylor (Mark and Sam) were into double figures by the time I got there. Young Sam was rinsing us. Well done Sam.
Night Game in Tobago
Dodged a bullet with the UK weather last week and took a holiday with the missus to the Caribbean Island of Tobago. Nice.
