New Species in Madeira
Three new species tracked down with LRF gear in Madeira – Axillary Seabream Red Seabream, Emerald Wrasse and of course, Madeira Rockfish.
LRF Skiathos Greece
Dragged myself away from the Gyros and Souvlaki for a just two short LRF sessions in Skiathos, Greece. The variety was pretty good.
Giant Goby from Amvrakikos Gulf
We hired a car to explore the Amvrakikos Gulf, a huge inland sea situated north of Lefkas, on the mainland. It wasn’t a fishing trip but a quick go at deserted jetty yielded quite a few Giant Goby.
Light Rock Fishing in Lefkas
Wow, what an awesome time we had on holiday in Lefkas, Greece. I fished mainly around the resort of Nydri on the east coast, fishing in the mornings and evenings when I had an hour or so each time. The fishing was excellent, managing 20 different species, all on soft-plastic or metal lures.

Light Rock Fishing in Kefalonia
Did some LRF around Agia Efimia, while on holiday for a week on the Greek island of Kefalonia (one of our favourites). This year I played things a little differently and kept the Isome in its packet, concentrating on metals, micro hardbaits and soft plastics.
