Found myself in Dorset for a few days and managed three micro sessions down at Poole Quay. Very late on Wednesday night I had a lot of fun trying to pin Sand Smelt just under the surface with a 1g jighead rig (no wind!). Found a couple of bonus Bass hiding in the shadows too. At dusk on Thursday I didn’t get much further than ‘Shanny Town’, trying to convince the biggest, blackest, wisest blennies to engage. Some giant Black Goby too. Then on Friday morning I was treated to some great LRF, sight casting to an endless stream of minis in what must have been 8ft of viz. Always awesome watching how different species react to different actions. Even managed a few Goldsinny on pure plastic. It was over all to quick.

Sorry Chris, I can’t help you. Think these were prototypes. Possibly size 14s!
