First one of 2022. A nice, early, prespawn fish that took a liking to a shrimp pattern soft plastic lure, fished on the reliable Free Rig.

LRF Black Bream on Metal
Great start to the season with some marvellous conditions facilitating targeting of the Black Bream on light tackle.
Plaice on Curly Tail Grub
Dan had a nice little Plaice on a curl tail grub today. Absolutely inhaled it on a slow retrieve.
LRF Pollack at Skarnsundet
There was some great LRF Pollack fishing to be had out the back of our apartment at Skarnsundet. 60cm fish were in range of a 1 or 2 gram jighead at certain stages of the tide and put up a great fight on a 7g rated LRF rod. Massive fun.
LRF Flounder in Norway

Short-Spined Sea Scorpions a plenty on a recent visit to Skarnsundet harbour in Norway. Awesome colours on these scorpion fish!
April Wrasse Fishing
Enjoyable day on the Dorset coast with Dan and Chris. While the wrasse fishing is still only a fraction of what it will be in the next couple of months, it still felt rewarding. Each of us caught. Creature baits were the key. Crystal clear water conditions. You can’t beat the ‘tonk’ of a bite from a Ballan Wrasse. I’m an addict!
