Pollack on HTO Excalibur
Out on the boat. Obligatory LRF over slack water resulted in Pollack – entirely expected at this time of year. Briefly tried to target one of a small number of early Garfish but this only ended in frustrating, if not entertaining follows.

For both, I was using a miniature Carolina Rig, with a free running cone lead to control the flow in 10m of water. A size 10 Aberdeen hook and a white HTO Excalibur. (Okay yes, I’ll admit the lure mimics a squid strip, but was a bit hopeful of snagging an early Black Bream)
