Barry Docks LRF
Change of scenery. Thought we’d head West instead of South for a change. After a bit of internet research I decided upon Barry Docks in Wales.
Rock Goby on AquaWave Ami
Had fun sight casting to these little fellas in shallow water, under torch-light. Despite sub 10C water temp they reacted aggressively to the little AquaWave Ami when jigged.
Rock Goby on Jig Head
Must admit, quite enjoy catching gobies by Jighead method. Not easy, so rewarding once you get the action right. Lure here is the Ecogear Aqua Shirasu.
Giant Goby on AquaWave Ami
Had a bit of a battle with this bruiser. A decent Giant Goby found in a boulder field at low tide, in Cornwall. Fooled the brute with an AquaWave Ami in Sodium colour.
Giant Goby from Amvrakikos Gulf
We hired a car to explore the Amvrakikos Gulf, a huge inland sea situated north of Lefkas, on the mainland. It wasn’t a fishing trip but a quick go at deserted jetty yielded quite a few Giant Goby.
Rock Goby Goodness
Coloured mahican, heavily freckled cheeks and hairy armpits. What a dude! Can only be the Rock Goby.
