Inshore Lure Fishing Picking Up On South Coast
Glad to report that the inshore fishing has picked up on the South Coast with the usual suspects now falling to a range of light lure techniques.
Giant Goby from Amvrakikos Gulf
We hired a car to explore the Amvrakikos Gulf, a huge inland sea situated north of Lefkas, on the mainland. It wasn’t a fishing trip but a quick go at deserted jetty yielded quite a few Giant Goby.
Light Rock Fishing in Lefkas
Wow, what an awesome time we had on holiday in Lefkas, Greece. I fished mainly around the resort of Nydri on the east coast, fishing in the mornings and evenings when I had an hour or so each time. The fishing was excellent, managing 20 different species, all on soft-plastic or metal lures.
Rockfish Ruffe
Nice Ruffe caught on light rockfishing tackle. A green Jack Nakamura Worm Rarry straight, soft-plastic lure fished on an Aquawave darting jighead. Very cool.

Without doubt, the highlight of our recent trip to Osaka, Japan was going fishing with my friend Masa and his pal Shigehiro. Despite the week’s excitement of the Osaka Fishing Show, both George and myself were really buzzing to try Light Game in the motherland, Japan.
Perch Fishing Picking Up on K&A
With the first proper frost the water clarity is already much better on the canal, mainly down to less boat traffic. The last couple of trips to the K&A have seen good numbers of fish, big and small.
