Night Game Scad
Nice to get some ‘Aji Action’ tonight with Scad falling for lots of different lure fishing methods after dark. Seen here on the HTO measure.
Giant Goby on AquaWave Ami
Had a bit of a battle with this bruiser. A decent Giant Goby found in a boulder field at low tide, in Cornwall. Fooled the brute with an AquaWave Ami in Sodium colour.
Rock Goby Goodness
Coloured mahican, heavily freckled cheeks and hairy armpits. What a dude! Can only be the Rock Goby.
Pollack on Metal
Pollack caught on a HTO Fugitive metal jig. In my favourite colour, Scad.
Smelt on Metals
Micro metal is a fun technique to target Sand Smelt, but the key is tuning your metal jig with the appropriate sized assist hooks.
Weever on Soft Plastic
Once you’ve found them Lesser Weever are pretty easy to catch. Aggressive little things. They very much like movement and will come way off the bottom to hit a moving lure. Here, a natural coloured Knight Worm. Please be careful. They’re highly venomous.
