Rock Goby on AquaWave Ami
Had fun sight casting to these little fellas in shallow water, under torch-light. Despite sub 10C water temp they reacted aggressively to the little AquaWave Ami when jigged. More

A change is as good as a rest, so this weekend I grabbed a packet of the AquaWave Straight, some nail weights and hooks, and spent some time on the canal fishing the Neko Rig. More
Weymouth Christmas LRF Species Hunt
Hats off to Andy Mytton for a first class LRF competition and meet-up, drawing in anglers from all over the country. Huge turn-out for any time of year (I think it was 34), but for December, with 40mph winds roaring away it was exceptional. Lots and lots of friendly faces, plus a few new to the saltwater side of light lure. Everyone appeared to be having fun. More
Sand Goby
In the depths of dark December, there was no real expectation to add to my yearly species tally, but Weymouth delivered a pretty little Sand Goby as its Christmas present to me. Just shows you, you just need to get out there and fish!
