The HTO Knight Worm has been one of my most successful soft-plastic lures for LRF. The attached image is a great illustration of why they work so well. Okay, the colour match isn’t the best, but it was all I had with me that day. A Knight Worm in Blood Cray would be bang on.
The image above is an isopod crustacean of some kind – perhaps from the Idoteidae family – creatures that are common around the UK coast and clearly serve as an important, natural prey item for lots of different fish species.
The image below is of another important prey species – the Mud Shrimp (Corophium volutator). Again, widely distributed around our coast.
