Well I was thinking that it was a lucky strike and that crazy fish was the only gudgeon able to act like this. I thought he was caught twice anyway because in winter 2011, as I was fishing the same little stream with a friend, he also caught one gudgeon with a tiny soft bait ;)
Until today we were sure it was the same badass fish but your captures show us that we are facing a terrifying invasion of mutant individuals !!!
The cannibal bleak, the killing roach… Mankind can’t even realize what those generations of fish raised in high polluted waters would manage to impose to a poor lone fisherman away from home…

Cheers. Who knows. Possibly on metal. I’ve seen a couple on hardbaits though! They’ve evolved into killers :0o

I like the ‘terrifying invasion of mutant individuals’ theory. It makes fishing my local canal a little more interesting :0)

The successful lures were two Jackall bros : Peke Peke and Mebaru Bushi :)
