Dan and I made a trip down to Weymouth today to explore the LRF fishing opportunities and we had a blast on the town quays. We fished all sorts of lures and made a final tally of 8 species – Black Goby, Pouting, Whiting, Pollack, Scorpion Fish, Corkwing Wrasse, Goldsinny Wrasse & Smelt. The whiting were particularly good fun and obliging. We’ll definitely be back sometime soon. Weymouth is a great light rock fishing destination. Also, Weymouth Angling Centre has a selection of LRF lures from Marukyu and Ecogear if you are running low.
