Baby Daiwa ISO Net Handle
There’s been a lot of interest in the Daiwa ISO telescopic net handle since I highlighted it in my 2014 Gear of the Year. New for 2015 is a shorter 3.60m version. I was lucky enough to fondle one at the show and it was noticeably lighter (480g vs 720g) – weight being the only negative I could raise about my 5.90m model.
It’s also more compact. Only 44cm when closed. It’s a really nice tool if you can get away with a 3.60m net where you fish.
Gear Of The Year 2014
Promised myself I would share my favourite gear of the year as we approach the end of 2014. And what a year it’s been! UK lure fishing has gone from strength to strength. LRF seemed to explode. Feels almost commonplace in some areas now. We gained a lure fishing series that saw our techniques and tackle tested. And more mainstream tackle manufacturers tried to get in on the act. So what did I like and why? More
