Notes
WPC is Go
After 3 hours sleep, today has been a long day. But a good one. Spent the day becoming acclimatised with the beautiful town of Hellevoetsluis. It was apparent from the word go that this event has been very well organised. The World Predator Classic crew have completely taken over the town.
Tackle House Shores Streamer
Not cheap, but a damn sight cheaper than they would be in Europe. How could I pass up the opportunity to have a couple of these gems in my arsenal?
Success with BLAC
This is a post I wrote for Ecogear on my successes at rounds 1 and 2 of the British Lure Angling Championships:
“Catching 12cm Perch may not be to every lure angler’s liking but it is certainly a way to qualify in this fantastic new championship.
LRF Season Has Started
Well I’m delighted to say that the 2014 LRF season has finally started down on the south coast. I ended up having a fairly hectic, but great week of fishing – starting out on the boat, fishing some of our inshore marks towards Selsey, then shooting down to Brixham for some Light Game fun and then finally to my home town of Portsmouth for a mixture of LRF fishing styles.
Reins Lures Label Guide
I found this on the excellent French Touch Fishing site and translated it to English. We now know what all those colourful labels mean on Reins lures. Thanks FTF! Will be using this in Nantes next month.
Cotswold Predator Classic
Today saw 32 anglers, myself included, fish the inaugural Cotswold Predator Classic at Watermark Fisheries, near Cirencester.
With perhaps the hardest frost of the winter so far and after a week of torrential rain that saw the venue flood, the conditions could have been better. However the wind had finally dropped and it was a nice, sunny day to be outside after all the Christmas festivities.
