As is vogue with Daiwa baitcasters more recently, we now see Gekkabijin receive the ‘Air’ treatment. Spotted this Daiwa Gekkabijin Air for the first time at the show, but it’s already been out for a season. It’s a 2000-sized, shallow spool, high-speed spinning reel (2002H) and it barely pulls the scales down to 175g. It looks pretty cool too. [seen in-hand at the Osaka Fishing Show 2018]
