New braid for a new reel. Have filled this little Abu Revo Premier with the rather luxurious feeling YGK G-Soul PE in 0.3 (5lb). This combo will be used for UL duties, both freshwater and salt.

I have an Abu Revo NEOS which they seem to have dropped from their range now, but it’s a lovely reel, super smooth, super light, but it’s struggles under pressure if you use it with 20g plus lures. Which I could find out where to get a spare spool too, I called Pure Fishing, who sounded confused, promised to call me back and never did.

Ha. Got to love the big corporates! Mine came in posh box with a round space for a spare spool… but no spool. Nothing quite like the feeling of under delivered :0) Anyway, felt nice today throwing 1g on 0.3
