Shot up to Stoneleigh Park yesterday to visit the Tackle and Guns Trade Show and check out what’s going on in the UK tackle industry. I’ve been lucky enough to attend the last few years and it’s been a delight to see the growth of lure fishing in that relatively short time.
This year was no different and the number of stands exhibiting what I would term ‘modern lure fishing’ equipment was at an all time high. In addition, it was encouraging to see a number of the larger, general fishing tackle manufacturers devote some space in their 2014 catalogues to modern lure rods. And nearly everyone now has an LRF rod in their range, even if they don’t all understand what one is!
