I have a new LRF rod courtesy of the Alderney Lure Only Species Hunt – a shiny new Major Craft Turel! The Turel range is Major Craft’s export range of rods for non-Japanese markets. The build quality is ace and fittings include genuine Fuji seat and K Guides (Alconite). The model I have is from the Light Game Series. It has a tubular tip and is rated from 0.5 to 7g. I like that rating. It’s well thought out and potentially more versatile than many 5g Japanese rods. More akin to the French rods I’ve previously favoured. Looking forward to taking it for a spin!
