Hi Andy. We’ve had them on both free-lined worm lures and lures fished jighead. Best advice I can give you is free-line a worm in when you can see Mullet filter feeding in flow. Happens quite a lot. But if you see fish grazing in weed, try to scuttle a lure on a jighead when they pass over. That last method was some of the most exciting fishing we did, the year before last. Was great to see the Mullet react to a ‘fleeing’ prey item. But they have to think they disturbed it. All about timing! Good luck.
In the article “Muloches en folie”… “Muloche” is one of our local niknames for this fish. More than hundred fish for three fishermen in the afternoon, amazing… Light jigheads 1/32 oz, small hooks 6 or 8 and small shads Reins, Keitech or Pontoon 21 .;)
Cheers Adam can’t wait to get out we get some decent size ones come into the mariners in guernsey.
Also just brought a new rod shakespeare agility lrf so looking forward to the fights

That looks like an awesome days fishing! Great to see them taking small plastics readily like that. I’d soon become addicted.
