Daiwa Ignis Type-R SOM Custom
Replacing the fluorocarbon-only spool of the Daiwa Ignis Type-R with this red, No Limits custom shallow spool from Studio Ocean Mark. Tuned further with SOM’s amazing looking Rail Arm handle and knob to complete the look.

Tict isn’t necessarily a brand that you instantly associate with fishing reels, but in their quest to make light lure fishing better they have designed an innovative range of custom reel parts that fit both Shimano and Daiwa reels.
Daiwa Luvias 15 1003 Custom
The Daiwa Luvias 15 range of reels are amongst my favourites and the baby 1003 model is just perfect for ultralight line applications. This Luvias 1003 was seen on the 34 stand at the 2018 Osaka Fishing Show, displaying the company’s rose pink Zerogra Double Handle III and Balancer III. Sweet ride.
Evergreen Opus-1 Nero Custom Shallow
Another JDM rarity – the Evergreen Opus-1 Nero. And the first time I have had the pleasure of seeing this rare spinning reel in hand.

One of the most desirable items at the 2018 Osaka Fishing Show – the brand new Daiwa Exist 18. This top-of-the-range Daiwa spinning reel pictured here, the LT2000S-H Finesse Custom has been pushed to even greater heights with a full SLP Works upgrade kit including, spool, handle and handle cap. Whoa mumma!
