It must be six long years since I first noticed that someone had caught a Baillons Wrasse from Millennium Pier in Gosport. This week I finally found one myself.

Catching Baillon’s Wrasse
Caught a couple of beautiful Baillon’s Wrasse from the boat using the new C-map Reveal charts to find a suitable hole in the reef. Used a short dropshot rig presenting a small piece of Gulp Slim Sandworm just off the bottom.

It’s taken me a while to catch a Baillon’s Wrasse at Swanage Pier, but on Friday I did it in style, catching a beautiful little Baillons on an AquaWave Mushi creature.
