With an almost unlimited stream of shoal bass around at the moment it pays to experiment. For me, the most satisfying technique is casting tiny hardbaits, getting slammed in plain sight! Spectacular fun on a 7g LRF rod.

Plaice on Creature Bait
How about this! My favourite catch aboard Hot Pursuit so far this year. Dan managed to wedge a decent sized, blue creature bait inside this beautiful Plaice. The lure is a Zman Punch Crawz. Amazing catch Dan. Well done.

Lure Caught Dab
Proud of this one. A lure-caught Dab tricked into taking an unflavoured lure. In this case the lure was the beautiful Hart Rock and Street Micro Fish, fished on a dropshot rig from the boat.
LRF Pollack at Skarnsundet
There was some great LRF Pollack fishing to be had out the back of our apartment at Skarnsundet. 60cm fish were in range of a 1 or 2 gram jighead at certain stages of the tide and put up a great fight on a 7g rated LRF rod. Massive fun.
LRF Grey Gurnard
A huge Grey Gurnard caught on a HTO Leethal in chartreuse, fished on a dropshot rig from the boat. We were fishing out of Skarnsundet in Norway.
