Here it is then. A lasting memory from the 2015 Cornish Lure Festival. One genuine lure-caught, LRF Conger Eel. Hooked on a 2-inch lure, using 4lb leader and a rod rated to just 5 gram.
Just shows you. NEVER give in.

British Lure Angling Championships on Sky TV
The 4th October 2014 saw the first grand final of the British Lure Angling Championships, fished at Chew Valley. Sky TV were present all day and here is the result. As televised on Sky Sports on Friday 10th October. Andy Ford has done us all proud. Thanks Fordy!
LRF on Tight Lines Again
It was June 2012 the last time LRF was featured on Sky Sport’s Tight Lines TV show. All credit to Ben Field for getting the opportunity once again and raising the profile of our sport. This time around uber angling celeb Keith Arthur joined Ben for some early season LRFing down in Brixham. Not sure about the dodgy mush in the hoody…
