Caught a few Ballan Wrasse in West Cornwall. Felt their appearance was slightly different to their lazy South Coast cozens. They certainly fight well. Must be a tough existence in the Atlantic swell.

Decent Pollack West Cornwall
I don’t associate decent Pollack fishing with summer, but located a number of good fish in West Cornwall that tested LRF gear to the limit. Great fun on metals and weedless plastics.

Cornish Lure Festival 2016
While I won’t remember the 2016 Cornish Lure Festival as one of my finest angling achievements, the event once again demonstrated why it is a must-do competition on the lure fishing calendar.
Goldsinny on Plastic
A Goldsinny Wrasse caught on a scaled-down soft plastic lure. The lure here is a cut down HTO Knight Worm, fished on a short drop shot rig. The hook is a red, Decoy SG-3 in size S.
Pollack to Bass
Weird. All the Pollack have turned into Bass :0) Perfect way to christen the new 5g Rock n Force though
LRF on Bournemouth Pier
Dropped in on Bournemouth Pier for an hour after seeing some fish around the pilings.
