Having grown up reading about the specimen fish catches from the notorious Devil’s Point in Plymouth, I always fancied fishing there. Sadly that didn’t happen until now.
Granted, not the hardest fish to identify, but I found this nice photograph of a Rock Goby showing the key attributes useful in identifying this species;
My Shimano Stella 3000 FE has seen quite a few years of action. It’s been absolutely solid. In addition to its durability, the stand-out feature is its drag. Really, really smooth with very little start-up time and therefore perfect for light line applications.
Just a quick post to say Dan and I are back on the Black Bream and straight in where we left off. The Free Rig getting it done once again, although fish on metal too. Plenty more info on our bream fishing coming up, weather permitting.
