Not strictly an LRF catch but an interesting capture none-the-less. I had this Thornback Ray on a 6-inch Berkley Gulp Sandworm as we drifted for Plaice. He nailed it good and proper. Just shows you every fish is a predator. Love this stuff!
Very interested to hear Dave Barham of Boat Fishing Magazine talking enthusiastically about LRF gear for use on the boat. I had heard about its use in the recent species tournament in Weymouth from another source and this confirms it. Exciting times!
Dan with a clonking great wrasse caught unexpectedly on a Daiwa micro jig from the boat. We had to leave our buoy and chase after it. Great fun!
Has this been the windiest year ever? It certainly seems that way to me and lots of fishing plans have fallen by the wayside as we simply could not get out in the boat.
