Black Bream caught on a Cultiva metal micro jig
Not an unusual fish for most LRF anglers but this one (and a few others) was noteworthy because it was caught in 10m of water from the boat. An scaled up split shot rig (5g) was used to present an Ecogear Aqua Straight.

Quick update. The fish are finally here!
We got out on the boat on Sunday and had 30-40 Black Bream. There were Garfish scooting round the boat and reports of jumbo Mackerel on the radio.
Then on Monday, Dan had a quick LRF session from the shore in Portsmouth and had a few Scorpion Fish - the first of the year believe it or not.
