Perch on Rock Claw

Great day on the K&A with Chris today. Lots of variation in water clarity between stretches. We capitalised in the clearer water using a variety of lures.

If you hadn’t of guessed already, I’m addicted to the smaller lures, choosing to keep busy with smaller Perch, but my watercraft is improving as to when and where to change up to good effect. A switch to a Rock Claw at a flooding sluice saw a savage bite and a 36cm Perch in the net. Then switching back for more sub-20cm fish until the next feature. However, Chris stuck it out on bigger lures and rightly secured the biggest fish of the day. A beautiful 40cm Stripey and new PB for Chris. Well done mate.
